Dear Totobobo UK,
Hello there! I hope you have had a good 2018 so far. I wanted to take this chance to share with you some photographs of my collection that incorporates the Totobobo mask.
In the attached images, you will see that I have used the mask as it is, rather than wrapping an extra layer of cloth over it as initially planned. This is because I realized during the tests that layering the mas and attaching it to the hooded cape, would make it more complicated for the wearer to put it on as one product. Hence, resulting in the components being worn separately.
To briefly describe the concept of the collection, these looks are meant for the setting of the current and future environmental landscape, particularly in industrialized and developed cities, where pollution tends to be high and detrimental to health. Thus, I have considered features such as capes, hoods, and masks in conjunction with more classic garments such as jackets and trousers, to reflect my roots as a bespoke tailor, and to give the collection a more pragmatic appeal for everyday wear in the city.
I will like to express my deepest gratitude for your collaboration since my request in October 2017, and I hope the results and presentation of the Totobobo brand is satisfactory. I very much hope that we can keep in touch, and I wish you a wonderful summer!
